this trail hits a number of interesting sights around the 3rd St area of San Francisco. It passes by several parks, 3 of which are quite obscure, and some of the more unusual landmarks. It's more of an adventure/exploration style ride, but is mostly on bike lanes. If you're into exploring unusual and interesting places, this is a great one. I do it on my road bike, but a mountain bike might be better for most due to a small section that is on dirt and gravel. It's about 12 miles and the following are some of the sights you'll see: Potrero Del Sol skatepark, Hunters Point Navy Shipyard, India Basin Shoreline Park, Herron's Head Park, the old site of the decommissioned Hunters Point power plant, Heron's Head Park and EcoCenter, Bay Natives plant shop, a goat farm, Bldg Resources, Muni Metro East Facility, Warm Water Cove Park, several artists warehouses, The Ramp, AT&T Park, Mission Creek Park, houseboats, roundabout, SF Bike Kitchen, 24th St Mission Corridor.
